I'm inching toward the 120,000 mile-mark and the water pump looks like it's giving up so I'm going to be ordering parts within the next day or so. When it comes to things like the timing belts and water pump would you guys recommend getting the OEM Mitsubishi parts from the dealer or can I buy through a parts store without sacrificing performance or reliability?

From what I have read the consensous (sp?) seems to be for something as crucial as the timing belt, water pump, tensioner, idler pulley, etc... (timing belt job parts) get nothing other than OEM. I usually get parts from Concielli within 1-3 days of ordering (partznet is their website) and like "anconover" stated prices are decent.
