Ok here is the deal I have a 2g gst with a 6 bolt. I have been trying to fix a misfire that I have haf for the last month or so. It only misfires when you try to cruise and it gos away when you either shift or left off the gas for a while I was told my some members and all me reading that is due to the 6 bolt swap. So I check and changed the plugs and fuel filter 3 diffrent times check gap. Cleaned injectors and fuel rail . Looked for boost leaks and loose wires. No luck I figured it was time to order ecm link and I installed it last night, well today my computer shit the bed so iam screwed and need to drive 8hrs home for my dads birthday. I have read that I can take the sensor of in the link but due to no comp. I could also just cut the tps wire. Is this true. If so I only want to do it if I can repair it and it is kinda quick and easy but won't hurt much. What do you guys think. I am leaveing tonight thanks for the help.

P.s I typed this on my phone so sorry if grammer is off.

I too have a 6 bolt in a 95, but the swap was done without changing the TPS (it only has 3 wires) The car is misfiring bad right now. I am looking high and low for a used TPS but can't find one. I did however hook the unused wire to the throttle pin. I don't know if there are other differences besides that pin.

Sometimes I can drive it 30 minutes without a problem, or sometimes it does it right away. I could be cruising along at a constant speed on the hi way and all the sudden the CEL comes on and instantly I can tell I'm running on 3 cylinders. Usually if I slow down or push in the clutch and let the RPMs drop it clears up. I can never seem to pull over in time to do any checks during the misfiring. It always seems to clear up when I stop driving. The plugs all look good but I think tomorrow I will change them. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks.
