I have a boost leak (a really really bad one, 0psi) and I think it may be the gasket between the turbo and the outlet to the intercooler. I went to napa and all they could find was a gasket set for mounting the turbo for like 30 bucks, where else can I find this gasket, or, does anyone have the part number for it?

i'm assuming that since you have a 1g that you also have a 14b. on 2gs the intercooler pipe just clamps onto the turbo outlet. on the 1g there is a pipe that bolts to the turbo, similar to the "j" pipe that is sold in 16g 2g install kits. when i installed my 16g on my 2g, there was a gasket incuded in the kit that went between the turbo and the "j" pipe. i dont have a part number, but it couldn't be more than a couple of dollars at the dealer.

2G guys - 14b / 16g style turbos have a J-pipe that bolts to the compressor outlet... yes there is a gasket for it.

Part number: MD189460 - GASKET, T/C AIR OUTLET.

Enjoy.

I upgraded to the 2.0" 16G compressor outlet elbow when I installed my front mount. When I took off the elbow, I didn't even have a gasket! Apply a small bead of the red RTV around the inside of the compressor outlet elbow and re-install. No leaks, no problems.
Yeah, me too. I didn't get a gasket with the turbo/kit. I pressure tested it and sure enough there was a lot of leakage through it. RTV'd it, no problems since.
