You guys get cool license plates.:D

Do you guys stand out over there with turbo DSMs?
402 = 1/4 mile ;) thats why this exact number combination.

Do we stand out? Hell YEAH! :D Our only problem is that anybody else who wants to be fast buys a 2.2l 20v turbo Audi Coupe (The older S2 with 240 and AWD stock)

heh. I'd say there are less than 10 Turbo 2gs, less than 20 Turbo 1gs in the country (awd and fwd combined)

How did you guys get those cars?
Where they sold over there new?
Or did you have to import them used?

Regarding importing them, America is very strict on getting modern cars imported. Basically it costs a ton.
How is it over there for you guys?

for 2001+ cars you have to get certificates...which is aprox 5000$ additional to purchase price, shipping and customs....

a 93 TSi AWD previously imported and used in Europe would cost around 4000$ in questionable condition (but there is nothing else available).

And to import now any of those (since the accession to EU), the TSi would have to get yellow turn lights from a Europeon Eclipse and so on to pass inspection and be deemed roadworthy.

And yeah - the girl is my girlfriend. So....no deal ;)

Remember the 92-94 Talon already had the orange rear blinkers, ready for the EU I guess.

To be honest, I don't give a damn about your freaking cars :dunno: . The only time I want to see them is when a bunch of Latvian chicks in bikinis are washing them. As a matter of fact, being a moderator of this board, I ORDER you to start a thread dedicated to nothing but Latvian girls.

(J/K :D )

Hell, have your girl (and her cute friends) pose with you cars and some banner saying "DSMtalk.com rules!" (or something similar) - and we'll put it on the front page :D .
