Today I was driving around and had my windows rolled down, this is the first time I noticed it. Everytime I boost the car, a wierd smell almost like burning rubber is let out. There is no smoke from the exhaust and my car is not burning oil or coolant. Does anyone know what this could be?

Check your belts, maybe stomping on it is making one slip.

Wash your balls lately?
I checked to see if anything was rubbing and everything was fine. I have no idea what the smell could be other then the turbo. I took off the intake pipe and found oil around the turbo shaft and in the intercooler pipes. Do you think that could be it?

Well you shouldn't have oil in your piping but I dont see why it would make a burning rubber smell. Swap out the turbo and see what happens.

yeah man. I have the same exact thing happeneing to me. Everytime i boost, it's a really weird smell..Im itching to find out what it might be.

Tends to smell like burning electronic equipment or really hot brakes.
