If he doesn't know what model it is chances are it's a non-turbo. Tell him to open the hood and ask him what color is the valve cover "where the oil cap is". If he says black its 99% a 420a if he says silver its a 4G63 unless it's painted , so you are half way there to finding out if it is AWD or not

 

You can also ask him where the battery is. If it's on passenger side its a turbo. If it is on the drivers side its a non-turbo. He can easily look under a car and see if there is a driveshaft too or look under the back of the car and see if there is a pumpkin with axles going to the wheels.

 

The passenger side IC vent will be covered as well in a NT.

Alright cool. Emailed him asking the questions.. thanks for the quick responses! If it comes down to it, I'll just go and look at it.. It's pretty close but I'd feel kinda stupid arranging to meet him just to find out it's not what I'm looking for lol. Hopefully he can answer the simple questions

 

Ask if it has a boost gauge in the dash. 99% chance its a NT though.

 

If it's turbo the gas door will say "premium only" inside. As will the gauge cluster.

 

Yea that was my first thought.

Since the guy doesn't know what model it is, it is more than likely a NT. I feel like most of the owners of the turbo models have some idea of what the vehicle is considering that is a huge selling point with these cars.
