perhaps not. Before you are ripped a new one by the Search Predators, I'd recommend the TurboXS RFL. Whats the RFL stand for??? Really Fucking Loud. It comes with 6 washers, a horn integrated into it, and is probably one of the louder valves on the market.

TurboXS is the child of Turbosmart, so you know that the quality is there. It incorporates a polished look, so the bling-bling factor is present. If you're one of those all GReddy fellas, I don't know what to tell you.

Go to turboxs.com for more info. This valve and its componenets will run you a little over $240.

I personally think that the HKS unit is a excellent choice, I have never had a problem with it, if you want to route it back into the piping you can with their adapter.

Any BOV that vents to the atmosphere is JUNK! Get the GReddy Type-S, that's what the professionals at Road Race Engineering use.
Spoken by someone who doesn't have a VPC.

I've got a Tial BOV and it sounds awesome. You need a VPC to run it though because it only vents to atmosphere.

Good job guys in not turning this into a Venting thread so far. :D

In your profile, it says you have these modifications:

Turbo T4, Turbo X BOV, Injen Air Intake, Custom Exaust, Gauges, Painted Pop-off Parts, Terminator Wing, 18 Koing Rims, Beats, NOS, others...

You already have a BOV? You have a T4 turbo and can't decide which BOV to get? In any case, I would try searching and looking through some vendors sites first. Also, what exactly are you looking for (like some other people said), performance or just sound or what?

I currently have the Greddy blow off valve. I will be honest with you it. It sucks. I get compressor surge all the time, but only when I am below the spoolin rev in a high gear, and I hear it will be worse when I get a bigger turbo. For sound... I think that it can not be beat. It sounds awesome. :D But that's all I know about BOV's sorry.

Get the HKS, my RFL is driving me insane (well WAS), because i had boost creep. During cold nights i had to put all 6 washers to hold boost, during warm days the 6 was too much, and i had to switch back to 5. The HKS one doesn't need to be adjusted, weather you go from 10psi and suddenly spike up to 20psi, no need to worry about leaks....looks and sounds nice too. I'm sellin my RFL kit for a pretty cheap price, i just want to get rid of it asap for the HKS one ::hint hint::

I wouldn't damn the RFL due to boost creep. Port out your o2 housing or get a turbo that utilizes a Wastegate(eliminates creep)

Everyone else seems to be doing just fine with this piece. Look in the parts reviews section. About 5 talkers(including Brian) did a review on it. All A+ reviews i might add.

First of all i don't have any form of boost control, and after getting the testpipe installed (A LOT LESS backpressure, therefore boost is spiking like crazy). I'm getting a greddy profec B soon so this problem should be solved.

Another reason why i don't like the RFL is because i'm pretty much "sick of it", as most of you will to. I think i'm one of the first to get the RFL before the sudden rave about it (bought it 5 months ago), before all the "reviews came out". I bought it cuz i read brian's review on it, he made it sound GOOD, and i was sold. After i got it i was very impressed once i had it on, it put a smile on my face and i was more than satisfied, but after a few months of using it and my boost creep problem, i'd rather get the HKS.

Weird...instead of being "amazed" most people that hear my BOV either gets offended (this car in front of me, the passenger stuck his middle finger at me), and most people think my car's "broken", or this one time somebody asked if i have NOS. All 3 of these things ain't good, another reason(s) to hate the RFL.
