Hey I just got a 1995 Talon TSI AWD that is completely stock. It was well taken care of. Synthetic oil changes every 3000 miles and the whole nine yards. It was 133,000 miles on it though and it's A/T. Is there anything i should look out for and or do before I put very many more miles on it. So let me know :)

I bought my 1 owner completely stock dealer maintained 95 GSX not too long ago. Here is a list of some things I did when I first got mine.

-Replaced timing belt and balance shaft belt (good thing I did because the balance shaft belt broke during the removal)
-Replaced valve cover gasket, half moon, spark plug gaskets (all of which were hard and needed replacement)
-Changed tranny fluids
-Checked brake pads and lines (rear pads needed replacing)
-Bled brake and clutch lines with new DOT3 fluid
-Flushed coolant
-Replaced spark plugs and wires (upgraded to ngk plugs magnecore wires)

Bear in mind that mine was due for its 90K service. All work but the belt replacements were done by myself, everything else is really easy. If I was in doubt, I replaced it. Preventative maintenance was my thought. Pick up a Repair Manual if you haven't yet. Not sure what you mean by the whole 9 yards, but if it included regular maintenance and inspections, then you should be good (hopefully the belts were recently changed). There's a bunch more you could inspect, but this should be good for starters. Hope this helps

Well I've done a lot of work on DSMS the last 2 years so I know how to do everything. I just wanted some personal advice on what someone thought i should do. I was thinking exactly what you told me from past friend experiences. Thanx man. :D

Well sounds like you're all set then. Have fun upgrading your car! I know I am, my coilovers are coming soon :D
Yeah i'm debating on if i want to make it a sleeper or not though. I'm thinking about converting the rear to an eclipse and getting a bomex body kit and making people think it's just a ricer. What do you think? :p

I personally like the sleeper look as I am not one to show off. Being in an area where a lot of ricers are and cops pull people over, I like to keep a low profile. It also keeps the eyes of potential vandals and theives away as it blends in with all the other eclipses out there (The previous owner removed the GSX logo, so you can't tell that it is turbo or awd).

I suggest doing your supporting mods first and go from there. That way not only are you prepared to go bigger, you make your car more reliable at the same time. Make your car GO fast first before looking fast. I'm saving my 97-99 conversion until I do my FMIC and EVO III 16G. IMO the FMIC on the 97-99 Eclipse bumper looks soo much better than on the smiley face 95-96 and Talons. That's my take.
