the front works but no washer fluid comes out the back... it did before but now it wont work no more... does the front and back use the same fluid bottle, or is there another one you have to fill for the rear washer nozzle??

On my 93 they use separate fluid containers. Im sure it is the same for the 2g.
Look inside the rear panels in the hatch area.

The 2gens feed both front and back from the same bottle.

theres a rubber hole on the left side of the top when I life my hatch up... if i pour fluid down would they end up in the same bottle or is it a smaller one for the back??

also if its clogged how do i get it unclogged?? i think my is frozen cause it makes the spraying motor sound but nothign comes out...

I know that in my 93 there is a small hole on the left side of the hatch (when it's open) which goes to a seperate bottle for the rear sprayer. Fill this up and run the pump for a while and you should be all set.

How well should the rear nozzle spray? I get a trickle down my back window (1G). My nozzle isn't clogged, don't know of the pump is starting to go or what not, car has 70k on it, but its been like that since I bought it 54k.

The rear sprayer is a joke on most DSMs,I turned mine into a IC sprayer. I just push the button on the dash in between shifts,it just looks funny when am trying to spray and I turn on the rear wiper too.:p

V8 Spankr, is it bad for the IC if it getssprayed on with water? I was thinking about getting warped and such... Second question, does it create a lot of steam when you spray or can't you even tell from the inside????

just wondering...

yea the back sprayers are really a joke...

Ahh, let's not start the whole 'water injection/sprayer' thread again please. Flix this has been discussed many, many times. Try searching here and dsm.org under "water injection","IC sprayer", etc. Oh, and BTW - the consensus is that washer nozzles are not up to the task for that purpose.

I find the 2G back sprayers are pretty good. My friend put a pen-tip into the nozzle to re-aim it to spray directly at cars who follow too close behind!! Works great!!

Yeah, I'm serious - it's funny as hell! Just adjust the nozzle's aim upwards and when you hit the rear spray it shoots straight out onto the other car! This was on a '95, so I dunno if it works as good on earlier cars - worth a try I suppose! :D
