Let me begin by saying that I have no idea how the wiring for a steering wheel works. When I put a Momo wheel on my old CRX, there were no wires from the steering column that connected to the hub, just wires inside the hub that connected to the wheel. I have no idea how the signal gets from the button to the horn.

That being said, there must be an easy way to wire up a stock Momo horn to the car without ghetto rigging a striker and what not. I read this post:

where the guy rigged something up but he had to destroy the stock horn/airbag assembly in the process. Id rather not destroy that in case I ever want to throw the stock wheel back on. Does anybody have any thoughts? I really want a wheel but I need a horn to let people what bad drivers they are :D

u basically have to destroy the airbag wires from the clockspring for sure. its just the way it was made.

i used an electrical tester and found the pin from the clockspring harness which controlled the horn... used the harness end, spliced the wire and attached it to a piece of copper which touches the metal band from the wheel. (a striker perhaps as u say)

i think the only way to do it is to cut the harness from the clockspring and mess with it that way but i may be mistaken. it took me hours to figure out and bring myself to do it :p
