If you have a talon, Do you bring it to the Dodge/crysler dealership or the Mitsubishi dealer?
Well the other day I saw a 2G talon on the lift at my Mitsu dealer, and I went to Dodge/Mopar dealer to get parts for my Eclipse, so its just a madhouse out there.

Dealer screwed me with that one for the driveshaft yoke seal recall.
I told them it's still leaking and shit, but they didn't give a shit.

OP: Whack man! At least it's an easy fix.... :p
I just did the recall for the transfer case leak and I got a Brand new Spanking Transfer case! You got to stroke them for the transfer case. The recall for the transfer case is a lifetime recall. As long as the call is operating they are required to do it. Now with the ball joint deal, they will not do it again.
The ball joint "bone" part is really cheap. Easy fix.

So the balljoint is one unit together with the lower controle arm?
My Honda blew a balljoint, I just replaced the balljoint itself...

You guys had it lucky though, Here is what it looked like when
I blew my Honda's Balljoint at 5mph.

Mine was about to fail but JNZ found mine before I got the car back from them. Those pictures look nasty.

Now with recalls can you go to any Mitsubishi dealer or does it have to be the original purchase dealer?

Thanks NY 95 TSI AWD.

Basically if you have a Mitsubishi Eclipse you would go to any Mitsubishi Dealer.
If you have an Eagle Talon than you have to go to a Chrysler/Jeep Dealer.

I don't like other people working on/test driving my car. I replaced both of mine myself they are cake.
