I must say after only testing and playing with it for 30mins or so i already enjoy it. It's so nice to not need the airflow sensor, i completely unplugged it and drove around without it and loved every minute of it. My IAT and map sensor are located in my intake manifold and i run water injection so we shall see if that effects anything with the speed density, thoughts, comments?

You have to email them, and would need to own dsmlink/ecmlink and give them the s/n number off of it and your full name, ect. From what I can remember.Ive tried registering a few times but it always says disabled by administrator.

Just went and drove in burnett's car the other day on S/D.. It's running well. REALLY well. Fast as hell. Hopefully when he's "vaction" is over he can come back and give some updates.

So when V3 shows up next week or so then I will be able to access the forms? Ok well fair enough. For now I will be doing searches. There are some helpful links in the wiki I found out. So much to learn this summer. Should be exciting.

With all the good things said about sd, I think it would be good to say as well that just from reading over all of this and having very little experience in anything, I would say that boost leak tests would have to be a fairly regular thing wouldn't it? Just to save on the turbo of course.

Yeap, only to control the turbine wheel speed, to keep it in the proper efficiency zone. Which is important, but splitting hairs when your talking about leaks that concern MAF cars. Besides the physical efficiency of the turbo, the car will run the same leaks or no leaks. The performance hit from a boost leak on a MAF car is huge, and ridiculous, compared to SD.

I can't seem to find any more info on the SD on ecmtuning or in the ecmtuning forums. Is it included in a V3 upgrade?
A word to the wise when running speed density. Make sure you don't boost higher than the MAP sensor's range. Anything higher and the MAP could revert back to a much lower signal output. Nice little surprise I had on my VPC, luckily I was running high octane when the motor leaned out massively.

There wasn't like a big release party or anything, it just showed up in the firmware update. Its not posted on their website yet.

Yeah see I had just went to the homepage and there wasn;t anything said about it so stupid me clicked v1/v2 threads instead of V3 because I am not used to clicking V3 yet but I see it all now.
