Alright I put in new plugs and wires and my car still misfires occasionally. I wanted to know the order that the wires go into the coil pack to make sure I have it right. Like the the longest wire leads to which slot on the coil pack. Let me know thanks

HAHA, i know yer pain, haha anyway, im sure the bar is there, its prob just got alot of dirt an shit on it an u cant tell its there, its right under the coil pak on the mainfold, look around. It goes 1-4-2-3 first coil goes to the first cylinder, second goes to the 4th(driver side) 3rd goes to the second 4th goes the the 3rd.. hope that helps

I could swear both 1Gs and 2Gs go 4-1-2-3 from left to right if you're looking straight at the coil pack (from in front of the car on 2Gs, from the drivers side on 1Gs). Maybe I'm just smoking crack, I don't work on 2Gs that much.

Cylinder 1 is the drivers side and will use the shortest wire, they go up in wire length from there. Cylinders go 1-2-3-4 starting on the drivers side.

I could swear they're all 4-1-2-3 though. Did they switch 1 and 4 on the 2Gs??

alright sounds good, what would happen if they were in the wrong order, cuz i think mine are and that may be what is causing my misfires
The car will run like ass until you go outside and fix it. Then once you put the wires in the right order, it will be fine.

Really, you didn't hurt anything... so go fix it. :D 4-1-2-3 on the coil.

1-3-4-2 is the firing order of the motor, i.e. the order in which combustion cycles occur in the motor. Firing order has nothing to do with what order the wires go on the coil pack. They go 4-1-2-3 on the coil pack.

Stuff like this isn't in the owner's manual...you need a shop manual if you're gonna work on the car. The owner's manual is just general info for Joe Average Owner who doesn't work on the car at all.
