Theres this starter looking thing under my driver side querter pannel it makes noises like its on but i have no idea what it does or whats it for ?

big and heavy huh?sounds like you might be talkin about the a/c compressor itself.the evap purge is not huge and def not heavy.who needs a/c?more weight and takes away horse power.

Well look it gets hot in NY and im fat haha lol and ill take a pic man this thing is like a mystery lol i want to know what it is and isnt the A/C compressor belt driven how is it going to be under my quorter panel?

So, something is under your driver side quarter panel? Take a picture and I can probably tell you if you need it or not lol.

I can think of nothing in the driver side 1/4 panel.

You sure you don't mean the driver side fender? Because the ABS pump looks kinda like a starter.

rear quarter panel = antennae motor
front fender = ABS components

It problally is ABS then but defenatly driver side and I am going to take a picture tomorrow as soon as there's light lol
